"At Misco Joinery, we’re passionate about crafting kitchens that are both timeless and on-trend"
Meet Abby, our Head of Design and Sales – Residential. She’s sharing her top insights into the kitchen design trends set to shape 2025.
1. Embracing Woodgrain Warmth
Woodgrain finishes are making a strong comeback, bringing warmth and natural beauty into kitchen spaces. Whether it’s light maple, warm oak, or rich walnut, incorporating woodgrain adds depth and a connection to nature. It’s a trend that reflects the growing desire for earthy, calming interiors grounded in natural materials.

Our latest kitchen designs are created with entertaining in mind - perfect for hosting large groups of friends and family. Featuring off-centre or completely clear island sinks, these layouts provide a spacious, uninterrupted workspace. We’ve also introduced deeper islands to create a grander, more expansive feel, complemented by wraparound seated overhangs that allow for extra seating and a more social kitchen experience.
