Misco Joinery evolved from a vision that founder, Michael Chernishoff, had begun to plan whilst on the first day of his apprenticeship. The dream turned into a reality when Misco Joinery was founded in 1988. Michael’s brother-in-law, Glenn Colenso, joined him in 1998 to learn the ropes and eventually become his business partner.

Prior to coming into Misco J & L* had an initial design drawn up by another kitchen designer. Upon their first appointment with one of our designers, Lauren, she got to understand how J & L wanted to use the space and tweaked the design to suit. “We had to do a lot of alteration in the pantry with Lauren to create what we had envisioned.”

If you have a natural stone benchtop (Quartz, Granite etc), it does come with extra cleaning duties to make sure it continues to look as good as new.
